Tarting up the trim.

Chrome knobs. :)

Would also suggest spraying some of the numerous grey (but oh-so-slightly-different-colours) plastics body colour or piano black.

Ash tray lid is easy. Heater controls surround is too. But you'll lose the "instructions" on the panel and possibly some lighting.

I went a bit OTT and sprayed the front of the CD Tuner, and all the trim around the area. Bit of an amateur job. Wish I'd paid to get the ASR and rear heater switches done professionally, at the least.

That's what put me off doing mine. I plan on doing the vent surrounds however.

It's looking very nice inside @Stewartasb! What colour is your car externally?

I have a sneaking suspicion it may be electric blue, just got that vibe from the last photo...

Cheers. I wasn't sure if it was the metallic blue they had some of the early Fabias in, including this one I grabbed off the 'net...

You'd better get the paint code from the boot floor sticker or there'll be some spitting and sperging, I'm readying myself for a torrent of vitriol for getting the name of the colour wrong...

My Fabia came up great after a bit of T-Cut compared to when I bought it.

Agreed, amazing what a bit of polish can do to even the most battered of cars out there.20200404_020131.thumb.jpg.320710b65a0408ffe075c2014f223054.jpg.22c3b62c0569b2888f8e0e27f614b511.jpg

Check his project thread. He's done a lot of good work with it since that photo and it's still WIP. Not bad for a crashed Furby tbh. :)

Does this count?

It's for my dog to make sure that my upholstery doesn't suffer when his wiry little coat sheds. I found most of the hair was sticking to the seat bases, so an old duvet was the solution. Adds a bit of well needed colour to the interior too, even if it makes me look like I'm 40 years older than I am. :D
