only uselful if you are a vicar.....

My point being' date=' if they broke into my house for the keys to my car, i leave them hanging up!

And the funny thing, bit risky...?????? The whole situation of them braking into your house is risky, so .. threatening you for your keys is minor for them![/quote']

but when ever you physically see anyone doing something "risky" like robbing and breaking and entering etc and they see you they always run away and flee the scene. They don't want to be noticed so I can't see how it's that common.

stop watching those crime dramas

Tbh i usually have no idea where i put my keys down so they are about as likely to find them as me. I just know they are not by the door as there is no table there.

I dont think opportunistic burglary is as prevalent these days..lets face it..you cant just run off with people tellys these days..it takes 2 to lift mine and you couldnt make off with it at any great pace!

peoples homes are targeted for their cars and they will do anything to get the keys..I dont leave mine on display..but then again I have the best anti thief device..its a skoda!

This is the biggest worry about getting the Z - I remember someone posted on here a year back that their friend had their Z stolen with the keys.

I will start leaving the keys on the lounge or kitchen table, clearly in view (from inside the house ;)) - because lets face it, once they've got in they'll look all over for the keys so helping them find them quickly will mean they make less mess and are les likely to come upstairs.

My sentiments exactly Phil.

Hope your mates insurance company do the right thing and pay out,Some company's have said that becase the keys are with the car it has n't been brocken into:eek: A friend was told to claim of his household insurance :finger:

Took 4months for the company to do the right thing:thumbdwn:

Next door neighbour has a BMW convertable and I have a dog that looks like a wolf and a beware of the dog sign. Think I'm pretty safe they'd rob the BMW first.

Move next door to someone with a better car than you!!!!!

Bit drastic but could work.
