It's  a placeholder icon for a picture file. Like jpeg.

Missing graphics symbol?

What main menu are you on, not speed cluster clearly

Yes  l agree it looks like a jpeg symbol, but why would that come up on my dashboard? Have been to the garage and they said they hadn’t seen it before. Any ideas for How can l turn it off ? It is on every screen change.

If this is under warranty, the garage that said they have never seen it before needs to send in a Diss report to factory to get further advice.

There are flash files for VC dashboard's odds are a flash might fix, or they need to develop a fix or swap hardware at their expense.

Yeah. Like something in the file library is missing or corrupted. When did it happen. Did it co-incide with anything else happening or being done. Dealer level access, flash etc maybe required to resolve

If someone on here can support I guess you could try a refresh but not if you are under some form of guarantee..

Do you have a MK3 or a MK4 Octavia?

Your profile states:

Model: Octavia mk3 first edition
Year: 2020

There wasn't a MK3 'first edition' in 2020 as it was it's final year. There was a MK4 first edition though...

Once you confirm I'll ask a mod to move this thread if appropriate.
