Looking for advice.

 

I recently purchased a 2018 Kodiaq and the infotainment system is pretty slow and now it got to the point where the screen goes blank after connecting to my iphone via usb cable.

I have no experience withs Skodas so I just did a factory reset. It made no difference.

Apologies for jumping on this thread but having issues locating updates for our skoda Karoq 2022 in UK.

Believe the system is Amundsen but there is no slot for as card but 2 usb C ports.

The hidden menu and software versions do not match anything I can find either.

We have been able to update some maps apparently by USB C but the imagery is still unchanged for road layout.

 

Is there a specific chat thread or any advise would be great.

I am New here. I have a skoda Kodiaq 2020.

My navigation unit Broke and I replace it with one from an Octavia

Somone helped ne with activating the features that were missing. But it did not managed to change the System to Kodiaq, it connected vcds and now it shows me Skoda superb în the car menu, the Kodiaq was missing from the list...

Can I fix it with a software update?

Hello. My dealer says that I need a software update. I am new to this. There are scores of messages on this forum, very detailed, and I can't find what I need to do. I tried to search for my software version but no luck. On the car I found the system menu, clicked Update and it asks for a device with the new software on it. I see that you have kindly sent many people a link to the right update software. Could I have this please. I am happy to download and transfer to a good quality USB stick or SD card and apply the update.

I am in the UK.

I am confused: car's firmware software?, or infotainment software? Or mapping updates?

Hi, I have the same age car, same software build. MIB-Helper.com says I need MHI2_ER_SKG13_P4526 but mibsolutionone is just throwing up Cloudflare errors.

If I search for that firmware name, there are a few results on here where members have re-shared it, but looks like the links have all expired or been removed.

Does anyone have a copy, or is able to point me in the right direction?

Just a question.

I never updated the firmware myself, only the the local dealer. And never noticed any changes on my infotainment. Are there any at all? Or they are just "improvement" updates?
