Hi @Tdawber , sorry to be presumptuous but I am about to send a message containing my Gmail if that is fine. Hero's work. Garage tried to charge me £100 odd to update it.

sure fire away!!

Hi guys, I need some help. I've been dealing with a problem with CarPlay for almost two years now; the sound is acting up. I read that updating from version 8740 to 8755 helps. Could someone please share a link so I can use it?

Thanks, Lukas

Hi,

When my eldest uses apple car play the music starts to hiss and a static sound can be heard …. Thinking the car was completely under warranty the garage say that a software update will cure the issue and are trying to charge £150 to upgrade the software, by any chance does anyone have the update file  that i can apply.

Fabia’s Details (as per the attached)

The software train for the fabia is MEN2_EU_SKGPX_P7381L

MU Version 8740

I’ve tried to download from mibsolution but that appears to be down 😞 .

Thank you for any help.
