It's not, it's point when the thermostat valve fully opens, making the most efficient use of the fan.

Correct use it only when needed!

If the 1st opens at 95 'C  then the second when it opens? At 100 'C ?

1st on AC fan is stronger than the only speed on non-ac car. It should be enough to cool the radiator with AC off. The 2nd usually kicks in earlier with AC on, based on refrigerant pressure. The 2nd thermoswitch is more like a backup and in this case, it's still lower than factory setting on a non-ac car.

I will also be re-fitting old blower assembly for the interior,

What do you mean by this?

101-102 to be exact

I never said that i disagree with that.

if your cooling system is in good condition it would never get that high!

In my Felicia the 1st radiator fan scale starts one click above 90 'C, even in City Traffic the 1st scale does the job and the needle never goes more than 95 ' C (synthetic engine oil, coolant change every 2 years, thermostat new, thermoswitch 80-85).

85

that means 93 so no difference with 95

I will be refitting original interior cooling/heating fan since it did not fit because of the engine, I temporarily fitted server fans to get around the problem.

My cooling system is in tip-top shape, the needle never goes higher than the middle of the gauge.

Ah, I thought of that. I just for some reason imagined something that would go under the dashboard 😃

What's your plan to do that? Some 3D printed casing to replicate the Alex housing?

I remember that in your car is higher than mine (fuel consumption deleted topic) while moving and was close to 100 (acceleration to 120 km video).

I will just move the fan housing to the right side above the brake master cylinder, offset if you know what I mean. I will post some pictures in a couple of days so you can see exactly what I mean.

nah 95 steady

an old video of a 91C thermoswitch and see the point that its triggering

the fan was triggering at 99-100C so 8-9K ΔΤ
now I have a 79-87 85-93 meaning that first speed triggers at 95 - 96 deg C

I think I understand, thanks.

102'C and the radiator fan still is Off? and then starts at 100 'C and you find this ''super effective" ?

First time hysteris is 2c extra, then it cycles properly at 99-100 consistently.

But yes the hotter the coolant the more effective the rad.

Now with 87 set point first initiation is at 97C the consistent cycling at 95C

The head gasket agrees with this?

100C is nothing for the hg!

Hg fails usually from corrosion
