thats the smallest wooden church ever, emily is a nice person till you evidently get her in competition with her mom, blimy, this thread could go on forever....

We transported that small wooden church to the bar (where the wedding took place) on the back of a pickup truck on the morning of the wedding. It is now back in the garden of our trailer. It is sort of a giant garden gnome.

I can't wait to tell the "bad haircuts" your judgement. That is not an expression here. In Davis, which is a university town, people seem to pride themselves in not looking trendy. You may be interested to know that they were all charmed by Emily, who grabbed the microphone during the speech-giving time at the wedding and said helpful, appropriate and funny things. She not exactly "nice" but people like her for some reason. Here in Davis people are always asking after her (bless). Oh and saying "bless" or "bless you" is dangerous because people might think you are born again like George Bush and resolve to avoid you in future.

The only problem with this place, apart from the heat (it is aready 29 degrees outside and it is only 10:15 in the morning), is that Emily, Princess and Vlad are so far away.

The vows did make people laugh but I think maybe you had to be there:confused:.

I didn't write the vowsdown, I just dictated them to John (the guy in the white dress) in advance.

As well as all the usual things, we vowed to argue frequently but base our arguments on evidence and to not include ad hominum remarks (i.e. not to call each other names).
