Interesting - it’s hard to imagine a reason why someone thought it necessary to write new software to remove the numbers……

i would  go further and say its daft/stupid  imo

Some BMW Auto,s do not show what gear they are in unless in Manual or Sport, the same with other manufacturers as well.  VW included.

Ordered my 2nd Karoq this time a Sportline 2.0 petrol 😔4wd No extras, ordered Mid May with anticipated delivery late August/early September. I knew the delivery time was too good to be true. Then, a few weeks ago, found out it has been delayed due to a fire in the factory making the 'Chips' (No, not those kind 😁). Not even built yet it seems, apparently the factory fire has affected most makes.  I half expected a delay as back in 2019 when I purchased my current Skoda Karoq SE TDI 150 DSG 4W the delivery was delayed by about 5 weeks.

Carrying on from 2023 then.

Not stopping the many thousand EV,s arriving in the EU and UK from China and elsewhere.

Is it just the German Manufacturers that peed off the manufacturers?

VW Group and who they partner with to meet the 22% of Zero Emissions cars are churning out the BEV,s other wise VW Group pay a penalty on every ICE car they first register.

Hadn't thought about that, The Enyaq EV was a much quicker delivery funnily enough. Makes you wonder doesn't it.

Morning Berisford

Picked mine up on Friday from Marshall's Daybrook. Not a pleasant handover!! Still waiting for communications regarding "goodwill payment" £200. Nothing to do with dealer, Skoda UK. Everythings gone quiet. Several emails requesting feedback. Sorry Skoda, money first before i give my HONEST review. Let me know if you get anywhere and i will do same.

Well, here we are 5 weeks on from collection and no sign of the £200 goodwill, dealer says it's with Skoda UK to sort and Skoda UK are playing dumb, 'Goodwill Payment -are you sure?' - they say there's no case file relating to my vehicle and I'm to double check with the dealer that £200 was indeed offered - I just knew this farce would turn to dust - I trusted the salesman to sort it.....idiot I am, I'm old enough not to have fell for such a ruse.

As an aside, the call / line / quality to Skoda UK is abysmal.

Are the calls handled by a far eastern call centre I wonder or was I unlucky to get someone with a strong eastern accent?

It is a brave new world.

Employees with a laptop / chromebook can be anyplace in the world and sign in and work.

Or the Customer Services voice can be AI generated.

Try 0113 526 9449 or 01135264277 numbers - head office type numbers

When self-driving car that you can just call up as needed finally take over, I really won't miss having to deal with garages and car manufacturer's contracted out customer service.

I spent the first 2 or 3 minutes having a pointless AI interaction that for all intents and purposes amounted to ‘tea or coffee, sir’ - ‘you must choose one or the other, try again please’.

Instead of implementing all this AI malarkey - how about we fix the naturally stupid ones at head office that think having AI answer the phone is going to impress customers?

@mistac  Head Quarter type numbers once you have a Case Number and for the 'Case Manager' to contact you.

Not a Resolution Manager, that comes once you get past minions.

As to who you really want dealing with your enquiry is the Executive Team ones as you find on Linkedin.

They who like to tell how well Skoda / VW Group UK are doing.
