I've just bought a 2021 Skoda Octavia SE L and I'm having some issues setting myself up as a primary user.

 

Specifically, when I try and log in to my Skoda Connect account via the infotainment system it displays "Loading settings..." and then "Sorry, unable to load your settings.". 

 

I've tried factory resetting and Wi-Fi and neither of these have worked.

 

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? The car's no longer in warranty, so I'd prefer to avoid a trip to the dealership.

I see there is a pinned thread about updating to software version 1969 from (your version) 1941. Perhaps something to look at?

Hello. Any update on this issue? I have exactly the same problem in my 2021 Octavia, updated software to version 1985 and still can't login.

I have been to a dealer, but they weren't able to sort it on the day as apparently their systems were down...

 

I'm going back this week, I'll update on if they manage to sort it.

I have the same problem, also with MY2021. 

I came from 1806 and updated to 1941, but the issue remains. 

 

My OCU is on 067, maybe an update is requiered to solve it...

 

I would like to know what your dealer does. All the other posts I have found on this topic never end with a solution

 

I had this issue on my car, and it did require a dealer visit to resolve, along with a list of other software related issues. For the benefit of the forum I tried to get details of what they did to resolve it. Unfortunately they were not forthcoming on the details stating they were "not allowed" to share the details with me. 🤷‍♂️

It was the same answer when they finally resolve my Climate Control Sync issue.

Got the car back today and surprisingly all's working now. The dealership took a couple of days to sort it because they had to email the Skoda technical team for guidance after hard resetting the device, etc, didn't work.

 

I asked the guy what they did to fix it and he said the guidance from the Skoda technical team was initially to "update the MIB", but that didn't fix the problem. The next thing they tried was to "reprogram the control panel to make it think a new one had been installed" (paraphrased), and that worked.

 

Not entirely sure what that means, but passing it on in case it helps someone. Regardless it does appear to require a dealership visit.

Anch'io avevo il problema dei continui riavvii dell'infotaiment, poi da ieri pomeriggio mi si è accesa la spia dell'anomalia alla chiamata sos e l'infotaiment non funziona più, è in continuo "caricamento impostazioni"

Ieri ho chiamato il numero verde di Skoda, mi hanno dato il numero di telefono del centro di Care connect in repubblica Ceca, la ragazza che mi ha risposto si è collegata al mio profilo e magicamente si è sbloccato tutto.

mi ha fatto fare un hard reset, poi mi sono loggato di nuovo, al riavvio sembra sia andato tutto a posto, per ora non succede nemmeno più il riavvio dell'infotaiment che prima era molto frequente!!

vedremo al primo viaggio un po lungo se sarà tutto a posto

La ragazza del care connect mi ha detto che comunque vedeva delle anomalie e di portarla in un centro skoda per controllo e  l'aggiornamento del software

Yesterday I called the Skoda toll-free number, they gave me the telephone number of the Care connect center in the Czech Republic, the girl who answered me connected to my profile and magically everything was unlocked.
