Hi all! 

 

First post here... My 2008 fabia's key fob has died!! I've replaced the battery twice now and read the manual on re-syncing the key which wasn't very helpful! Has anyone got any ideas! It's the standard 2008 key with the red light on the right hand side in the middle.

Is the key fob not unlocking the doors or not starting the car? if your fob is still starting the car the transmitter part that unlocks the door could be faulty, one dodge i did before was to unlock the car with the key in lock open bonnet dissconect the car battery then take out the fob battery leave for around 20 mins then re-connect the car battery shut all doors bonnet etc then put key fob battery in and re programme key fob to the car as before worth a try
