Elroq: Who else has ordered?

Featured Replies

Anyone got the lumbar massage function on your elroq? I have it ... but it's not worked a number of times whilst I've been driving. Frustrating being intermittent as I know it'll work when the garage look at it.... wondered if there's a software glitch or something I'm doing that stops it working - any ideas from the collective knowledge hub of owners?!

Hi Fillst, can't say that I've really used it, but I remembered reading something about it in the manual. I just checked the manual and it states that the massage function switches off after 10 minutes. It doesn't actually state how long it has to be off before you can use it again. Could that be your problem?

Thanks Bowie, yes I’d looked at the instructions too - doesn’t seem to be the issue though as it sometimes doesn’t work having not been used at all. Pack up the car and 5 minutes later I go back to the car and it works. My wife said don’t worry about it cos it’s not that great a function, but it frustrates me when it’s not perfect!!

Reading the manual did make me find the auto lock function though, so I’ve set that up, which is nice!

I tried the massage function today just out of interest and found it a tad strange. Unfortunately I couldn't switch it off so I had to live with it for 10 minutes until it went off on its own. Probably wont be trying that again. ☹️

Just taken delivery of my Race Blue 85 Sportline...very pleased with it so far, and looks much better in real life than the pics and videos.

However, after downloading the App, i am unable to get remote access for the Battery Range and Target temperature functions, despite being signed up for the Care Connect services and all the others. Has anyone else had this issue and if so how did you rectify it? I click on Activate as its says its a paid service but the screen just goes to my profile page.

Aslo can you set the Target Temperature schedule from the car without the app , I could do this in the Tesla

Any help would be appreciated.

Just ordered a sportline 85 Maxx

Test drove a 60 and was knocked out by the acceleration!! Looks like I’m going to enjoy the 85 👍😁

Lead time quoted ’around 3 months’

Moving my trusty Octavia to a friend

Anyone actually tried the trained parking yet?

Cheers

I've never plucked up courage to try trained parking. Only had Maxx to get the two electric seats which you didn't get with the Advanced Pack. I'd have to say though, that the 360 cameras together with the excellent turning circle, make parking pretty easy anyway. Maybe one day when no one's watching. ☹️

Ive set up trained parking for work. It's clever but it is so slow that you feel a bit silly using it.

The acceleration is amazing! I can't imagine ever having to put my foot fully down, only just to test it for fun.!

Yeah, the acceleration in the 60 was a push back into the seat from standing start and the 85 is allegedly 1.5s quicker 0-60!

Trained parking could be just a gimmick then if it’s that slow, but the ability to pull the car out remotely when some twonk parks to close sounds amazing!

And I must admit, I do like my toys 😂😂

Just collected our Elroq 85 edition with the advanced pack. Very quiet, smooth and comfortable. Much more refined than the e-niro we had before. Great acceleration and so far everything works as I expected.

Had trouble at the dealers getting my profile set up with the car, but it worked second attempt when we got home. My wife has created her Skoda id profile ok , however despite several attempts when trying to connect the car to it, it goes away for a while, then it say something along the lines of "something went wrong, setting up as a guest" and won't add the profile. Any ideas?

Brilliant! Thanks very much TAP. It connected first time and all is well now.

It made no mention of this during the setup procedure so we would never have thought to turn this on. I checked my profile and it is set exactly as yours.

Now she can fiddle with the settings and we can both get it set up as we like!

Glad all is well. Someone gave me the info when i had same issue. Enjoy your new Elroq.

Still waiting for ours, how long did you wait for yours?

What colour did you pick? Photo maybe 🤔

Hello.

Yeah, I've tried. At my place, I have quite narrow parking space and also I have my friends garage with literally no space to open the doors.
I did this trained parking. At home, when I approach to the parking, I just click on the icon and it does all the maneuvering. Fine.

At my friend's place I use remote parking app to do the driving into the garage and then I use app again to drive car from the garage. Love it.

Ordered the first week in March, picked up 27th May, attached photo shows its dirty already!

Elroq85 edition with Advanced pack in Graphite Grey.

I made an expensive mistake when I ordered my car. The other half convinced me that I didn't need a towbar, so I saved £750. I've since found out that I do need a towbar and to have it fitted after-market is costing £1300, so not much of a saving!😢 I guess I could get something cheaper, but I don't want a lump sticking out the back that I hit my shins on. The quote is for the same towbar as the factory fit, and it gets added to the build spec and doesn't affect warranty.

YESTERDAY..... 85 Sportline with about almost everything added even the Drivers Pack - that is no longer on the Skoda UK configurator.. Not sure how that works. My question is based on others first experiences have we made the right decision? I tried logging into the Forum via my phone the last couple of days and login just was not working. And since I have not been on myself for a few years I wondered if the site was down.

Anything we should look out for good or bad, or things we should do when it arrives either later June / early July.

Thanks..

Excellent! Now the long wait begins (I gather the 85s currently have a longer lead time than 60s).

I would add mud flaps and rubber mats but they’re only a personal preference. I was advised to add the charge port cover for bad weather charging at home particularly if you charge in an exposed location or experience snow.

I assume you already have a home charger? Also be aware that the Elroq is not currently supported by Octopus for Intelligent Go smart tariff but standard Go is okay.

On delivery make sure the umbrella and ice scraper and anything specific to optional packs are present as some have had these missing. And make sure they set you up on the infotainment system and MyŠkoda app before you leave the dealership. One thing that usually gets missed is check the tyre pressures as they are overinflated for build and transport but often are forgotten on the PDI…

Steve153, thank you all good. You have saved me looking on Octopus.... hopefully it will be added at some point. Being a long time Superb owner myself and having lost one of my two umbrellas I had my wife ask for another brolley are part of the deal to buy the car yesterday :+)... Another brolley going in the 85 on arrival as well.

Some with a Sportline and Maxx pack have received two umbrellas ️ (without asking).

Octopus Go will work with the Elroq or you could cheat IOG and turn off smart charging and make your charger dumb and charge from scheduling in the car until it becomes supported (hopefully soon as the ID VWs are supported and should be similar software?).

It's disappointing with Intelligent Octopus. It may not come onstream as quickly as people hope. Enyaq 80 is supported but the 85 isn't and it's been about for 18 months or so.

Enyaq 85x works with iog and zappi charger, it sets up the zappi rather than the car
