Does anyone can change the turn signal mirror light? I was looking for the dynamics but I can't found it yet.

I'm also looking for the Octavia but I haven't found it anywhere.
I bought these LEDs for my other car (VW Polo 6c) from aliexpress and they are excellent.

 

I am also interested, but didnt find dynamic turning lights yet..

I have found dynamic turn lights for the MK4 on AliExpress.. ordered them and will test them..

I found that too; but I wrote to the seller asking about the product and he answered me:

“you can dimension the width of your signal lens. fits for 9mm. not for 15mm”

I found the same on Alixpress at a lower price. It's smoked black, I prefer the clear glass option, but it's not available.

I checked the part number from ETKA and it is the same as the seller (for my car MY2023). It is the 5E3949101 and 5E3949102

Yes, i have ordered them for testing.. we will see it they fit.. part numbers are correct.. an the image looks like the tuen signal lights for the MK4..

So we will see.. i keep you updated..

So next step will be to check how the change the turn signal light..

As far as I know you start with the glass.. next step the trim behind the glass and finally the mirror cap..

On my olf Ford Focus MK4 it was a lot easier.. you just puller on the mirror cap.. but I think on the O4 its a bit more difficult..

It's the same procedure as Octavia MK3

I don't believe that Osram make them for Skoda's at this stage (unless they are the same as one of the ones listed, which I doubt), here's their web page and current offerings:

I think they will fit..

Interesting, I think I will give it a try as well. Changing them is not complex, you have to be just a bit careful when popping out the mirror.

It would be nice if someone who has or is going to fit these could post a video of them in action, whether installed or not... 🙏

I will do a clip when installed, they are still in transit but I think they will come beginning next week the latest.

Note: From my experience, and to facilitate the removal of the mirror, way better to tilt it in order to have more room to pry.

I didnt install mine yet.. ver busy at the moment and i want do seal the cable first.

What exactly do you mean with facilitate?

Well, kind of common sense, If you want to push the mirror from behind with a pry tool you will need room to introduce the tool and apply pressure to release the mirror. To get that room, lower the mirror to max position and turn it to inner max position.

As you can see in the workshop manual, that step is not listed.
