I have managed to lock both sets of keys in the boot this morning. Opened the boot, put a bag in that it turned out has both sets of keys in it. Shut the boot and the car (Enyaq iV80) locked but does not recognise the key in the boot which will not open or unlock. 🤬

I have the app but of course that only tells me the car is locked and does not offer the option to unlock remotely.

Does anyone know of any other way to get in? Can Škoda or a dealer unlock remotely?

Any other suggestions as I’m stuck and the AA have had no joy

Locksmith to open one of the mechanical locks? A Skoda dealer may have someone they can recommend.

Yup. I ended up having to pay for a locksmith myself as Škoda Connect offered me LockAssist to come out Wednesday 7/5 earliest - not much use when I was checking out of the hotel we were staying at Monday 5/5 🤦🏼‍♂️

Also somewhat annoying that:

• the car did not recognise the keys were in the boot and open it;

• Remote lock/unlock is not available in the app

Unbelievable that there is a Recall Action with other Skoda models for a software update to stop the keys from being locked in the cars.

I wonder if the Elroq is release with the software in place from the factory so that the keys can not be locked in.

The BMW / MINI App with the EV,s allows the opening and locking of the doors remotely turning on the lights and not just pre conditioning.

Indeed. The Kia app I had previously for my eNiro included Lock/Unlock 5 years ago and it’s apparently available on Škoda except for the Enyaq ☹️

I believe the My2025 (just before the facelift) and My2026 (new Elroq-like face) have app lock/unlock on the Enyaq now. But yes, not available for older models.

My 2024/5 allows me to lock unlock in the app
