For the past few months i’ve been troubleshooting my AC system on my 2010 Octavia, as I can’t get it to work, I’m not sure what the issue is anymore as I have replaced all of the following:

-Ac Compressor

-Ac compressor Valve

-Re-gassed 2 times at 2 different shops

-Changed the Ac Control Panel Buttons (I have the basic Climatic one)

-Ac Pressure Sensor

-Front Radiator Cooling Fans

None of this helped solve the issue

I honestly run out of options as I don’t know what’s wrong with it, It keeps showing the error code B109EFO but every time I do the basic procedure of ‘AC Compressor First Run’ the procedure fails at the end!

Please let me know if you have any suggestions as it’s very frustrating to have no Ac!!IMG_5260.jpeg

Hi, out of curiosity, have you tried like in this forum?

https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/514487-ac-compressor-automatic-first-run-in-adapt/

Citing from the link:

Start the car.

Press and hold the AC and rear defrost button for a few seconds till they all light up. Leave it like this for 2 minutes then restart the car.

fault should now clear.

i know the thread is from a superb mk3 but i believe it is worth a try?

And also give a try to the reset of the flap?

Another question when you re-gassed the ac system did you ask for a leak tracer fluid?

Yes I have tried, the system has no leaks, but it’s also worth mentioning that my AC Button is always constantly flashing when starting the car, without pressing any buttons or doing anything.

Ok i've found also this https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/506229-another-air-con-threadsorry/

For the flashing button i've read online for different cars but with the same outcome faulty ac compressor (not your case) or faulty relay worth to test it

Edit: stupid question the AC compressor connector is plugged-in correctly?

Yes everything is plugged in properly as I also had a look at the wiring for the Ac system and everything is fine.

Wow, if the relay is good at this point, the next thing I can think is using vcds with that AC button flashing

maybe disconnecting the battery for one hour or so to try to 'hard rest it'?
