I have Superb MK3 L&K hatch 2.0TDi 2018.

I'm facing a problem with activated component protection on BCM and Gateway third time.

As usual with this problem, I got in the car one morning, and spotted that interior lighting, seats heating and infotainment system ambient lights are off.

I did go to VAG diagnostic specialist, and they told me that component protection activated on BCM and gateway for some reason (unclear). So they did recommended to change BCM code it. I did that and after that everything work fine for one month. After that the same situation happened.

Second time specialist recommended to buy BCM with newer software 5Q0937084DD (OEM is 5Q0937084CQ), as well to change gateway. So I that and specialist coded it to car. After that everything worked fine for one week, until one morning when again component protection activated...

Specialist don't find exact reason why component protection is activating.

Does any of you have faced such a problem and maybe find some solution?

As well I have guess that could happen due to KESSY failure in my Superb. After first broke down I noticed that keyless car unlock doesn't work by touching passenger side door handle, but no errors shown on dash or diagnostic. After second time I changed BCM and gateway the problem remained, but car started showing Keyless access failure on dash and bo keyless unlock worked either on driver or passenger sides. After third time BCM got component protection on BCM and Gateway error of keyless access failure gone, no error on diagnostic, but now I can keyless unlock car with driver door handle. I know that passenger side handle has broken KESSY antenna.

Sorry for long reading text, but I need you experience on that.

No, there is no easy open on my Skoda.

But currently BCM and gateway is not working due to component protection active.

As well KESSY unlock in passenger side door is not working, but no erros regarding this neither on dash or OBDeleven

While BCM and Gateway was working fine, there was error B117011 (which means that passenger door handle KESSY antenna failed to work, so handle needs to be replaced). While this error was active KESSY system wasn't working either on driver or passenger door, and failure warning was on dash screen.

But after BCM and Gateway got component protection, mentioned error gone and now kessy unlock/lock works on driver door, but passenger door still don't work.

Very strange. So I assuming that possible failing KESSY system causes component protection on BCM and gateway. But I'm not sure and kinda afraid to put again new BCM and code it to car, because it could get CP once again

A new BCM triggers the CP error. If you install a used one, the CP must be adjusted, as well as the coding and data set if necessary.
