Disable Auto Door Locking

Featured Replies

The manual suggests that there should be an option under Opening & Closing to disable this, but there isn't on mine.

There is a button for locking and unlocking the doors. You should find it just above the heater controls. Press and hold for several seconds to disable. Press again for several second to re-enable. Its like that for virtually all modern cars.

Thanks but that doesn't seem to do anything beyond normal locking/unlocking. That's a 2411 spec built in March.

Seems someone at Skoda (or the dictatorial EU) have decided that owners cannot be trusted with the option to switch off ‘auto locking’………!

It does rather seem that way. Even more annoying is if you unlock after it's auto-locked, it locks again next time you stop in traffic. ☹️

Yes, I noticed that too whilst trying to find a way around the problem……..

I wonder how taxi drivers get around it, I’m sure the doors on taxis have to be unlocked whilst a ‘fare’ is onboard?

Don't know about minicabs but London Taxis have auto-locked for decades. Must be knocking 30 years since I last used one but they auto-locked even then.
