Hi, same problem for a month, it worked great, the sound started to stop for a second, could the last update be the cause? I'm going to go to the Skoda dealership to see how it can be fixed, it gets annoying especially when I use maps

It is possible that this is the latest update (which one do you have?). If that is the case, the dealership will not be able to do much to fix it, and unfortunately we will have to wait for the next update. Please write any news here. Thank you.

I would like to inform you that after speaking several times with my dealership, they are going to replace the 5F infotainment module in order to solve the issue with the audio micro-cutouts, since it happens with all sources (radio, USB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cable, etc.).

It will take a few weeks before they do the replacement, but once I receive the car back and test it, I will let you know the result.

That's incredibly infuriating that you've had this issue for so long, and are still going to have to wait a while to get it rectified, but I suppose getting an answer and (hopeful) solution finally is good news regardless of a further wait.

A couple of days ago, I finally had the 5F module replaced. I had to wait for a while because the part was out of stock.

Since it was replaced, I've used the car for almost 3 hours (2 hours and 50 minutes, to be exact) with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and FM radio, and I haven't experienced a single audio cutout or any other issues. At the moment I'm only testing it using a wired connection, but it used to fail that way as well before the replacement.

So, if you're experiencing a similar problem, this is definitely something worth asking your dealer to check, as replacing the 5F module appears to have fixed it.

It has the same hardware and software versions, which suggests that the issue was with the unit itself. The only change I noticed is that the Wi-Fi SSID used to be “Skoda 7402”, whereas now it is “MyMib 660”.

Everything else is the same.

sorry, i thought i had replied! it seems i dont get the drop outs when using an external SSD with the audio converted to m4a... so might be an android issue for me.

Hi, don’t worry, it looks like it’s an issue with your Android system… nothing to worry about.

By the way, since they replaced my 5F module, I haven’t had any problems with audio dropouts.
