I bought a new Kamiq 2024 in March but Skoda have told me that Smartlink can not be activated on it and they could not give me a daye when it would be available. It has a Bolero infotainment system.

This was their reply:

"Once the SmartLink function becomes available for your vehicle in the future, your service partner will update your infotainment system, and it should then be possible to activate the function."

I tried the Ottocast adapter but it did not work as Android Auto does not seem to be on the Bolero.

Is there any other way that I can mirror my phone apps, especially Map, to the car screen?

I can connect to Android Auto only by cable. A wireless connection isn't possible. My dealer told me there is no possibility of a wireless connection for my car. I doubt that.

My MIB firmware is MOI3_EU_SKMQB_P33000P, and SW version is 0330.

Any suggestions?

Strange, very strange. Amundsen with SW 0156 and connectivity pack was wireless with CarPlay and became so for Android with SW 0278. Without purchasing the package, it is very easy with CarScanner or OBD11 to activate wireless MirrorLink, as FEC and SWAP are active in MY20.
