Is there a thread with instructions on how to remove the xenon bulbs on a 2014 Octavia 3?

I have searched but came up empty.

All the videos I've seen have hands covering the image and lack verbal instructions that make sense...

The space is tight but it's easy.

Remove the black cover

Remove the lead to the bulb

Twist it about an 8th and it will unclip

Do the same backward and you are good to go.

Getting the bulb in straight is a bit tricky but it's a 10mn job for the boh

Can I replace the Xenon bulb with any equivelant D3S xenon bulb (will the twist fitting fit)?
I have seen the Osran Xenarc Classic D3S is around €35 but the "like for like" replacement from Philips is €120....

The d3s will clip on just right.

I put the osram d3s night breaker.

Any feeling on whether it's necessary to replace both bulbs at the same time?

I've seen it's recommended to replace them both together but was planning on just changing the broken one?

Change both, xenon bulbs loose brightness with time.

You will have a difference in intensity.

Further more, the seconde one may fail shortly after the first.

It's a 10 minutes job so go for both
