This is the first time i've used the site, so forgive me if i've made a cobblers of it! Can anyone confirm the rumour there is a 170bhp diesel vrs on the cards for the end of the year?

Brochures & price lists featuring the 170bhp vRS are now available in Skoda dealers. Hatchbacks should be in UK dealers during September, Estates by the end of the year.

Economy would be the only reason for having a diesel, IMHO.

I really dislike diesels, but I have one purely because I do 50-60k miles per year oh, and I'm tight!

Swedish Automotor and sport had a small test with the Seat Altea TDI 170hp.

I've called all my local, and not so local, dealers. None of them have the Brochures for the vRS TDi. Where did you see them?:confused:
