That's your Turkish success story I did a cut paste. Will let @MartiniB or @dugeem to discover the other RoW. That's serdar_18fr work above. Apparently it took 8 minutes and he left another 20 minutes to ensure everything was copied over. For those that don't have the possibility of connected services where they live its even more important.

Hi, I’ve been struggling with the update for quite some time—tried various USB drives and an independent shop using ODIS—but I’m still stuck on version 24.12. I have two options: sending the unit out for repair or flashing a US-to-EU conversion via the service menu. Does anyone happen to have the conversion package, but with a version newer than 24.12? I’m even willing to pay for it.

Probably your navigation FeCs if you are trying to load maps into that which dont tally with the country it was meant for. The give away is in your text.

Mib3 is locked down from tinkering. A good retrofitter with vag equipment would be able to do it. Some can do this stuff remotely if you buy the box. It was all put on a legitimate level for legitimate use. Audi / VW police it.

East Yorkshire Retrofit is such a company in the Uk. Abroad other companies exist. Turkey is another country where retrofitter unlock the infotainment unit for map updating. Vehicles which are exported secondhand from Europe are candidates. American services personal bringing their Vag cars are another.

So yes it all changed with mib3. No toolboxes due to better encyption and backdoors bolted which had been left open in mib2. Changing firmware also runs risks irrespective of maps since these units are now locked down so if there is an issue you can't dig yourself out. The firmware may only work with specific other updates elsewhere in the car to the control systems.

Prawdopodobnie masz problemy z nawigacją, jeśli próbujesz wgrać mapy, które nie zgadzają się z krajem, dla którego zostały przeznaczone. Błąd jest w tekście.

MIB3 jest zablokowany przed manipulacją. Dobry fachowiec z wyposażeniem VAG byłby w stanie to zrobić. Niektórzy potrafią to zrobić zdalnie, jeśli kupisz boxa. Wszystko zostało zainstalowane legalnie i legalnie. Audi/VW to kontroluje.

East Yorkshire Retrofit to taka firma w Wielkiej Brytanii. Za granicą istnieją również inne firmy. Turcja to kolejny kraj, w którym firmy modernizacyjne odblokowują urządzenia multimedialne w celu aktualizacji map.

The FEC codes have been checked, and no unlocking is required; the car originates from the EU market and has factory-installed navigation. I even had an active three-month subscription. The service center that inspected it specializes in retrofitting and converting VAG Group vehicles. They had European activation maps available—specifically version 24.1—but we didn't want to perform a downgrade for fear of causing damage. The maps were downloaded from the VW website using the VIN.

Probably an issue with the firmware. I know early Cupras had issues. Think @MartiniB did as well on their Skoda. There is a conversation going between him and one other. Think they downgraded maps and then moved forward from memory. In the mib3 map posts.
