no not yet ross hoping to take some when i cleaned it :)

hi, get my eibach's fitted tomorrow. did you just change the springs or the shocks as well, and how much lower would you say it is?

 Tom.

Should be about 30-35mm lower.

Mine was after fitting them.

it might not be that much lower due to the fact vrs are about 15mm lower than standed furby and the springs r made for tdi's so it might be about 15-20 mm drop

Eibach springs are good, ain't they? :D

I was absolutely flabbergasted at the difference on standard shocks. I remember driving all the way home just driving like those formula 1 drivers when they're trying to get heat into their tyres - absolutely fantastic!

(They also perform the added task of making the wheel look like it fits properly into the arch instead of the arch standing somewhat above the wheel)

Nice shot of a Marshall!!!!!!!

false start with my springs, they wouldn't order them in until they had checked the chassis number. just to clarify, they are the tdi springs? any particular model? Tom.

IIRC - the model number for the TDI eiback springs is 7911.140 - I could be wrong mind, but either way I believe the "TDI" springs would be fine for the furby vRS as basically it is a TDI anyway, just a little heavier, that's all.

Yep, those were the same ones as fitted to my TDi. The main thing is dont fit the ones for a petrol fab as the front will be too low...

7911.140 is the part number fitted to mine they went on like a dream.

was it just the spring you fitted, or did you do the shocks as well and how much did it cost?

I measured the ride height of my vRS before and after fitting the springs.

It did drop 30mm from standard.

i never measured the height before or after but it looks hot. the way it should have come out the factory. but then again we woulnt be able to mod them if they did :)

thanks everyone, i'll let the garage know on mon.

i got the panel filter from www.motorsportworld.co.uk it cost

Ordered one...yay.

Will also try the air box mod while i'm there I think :)

Cheers fellas.

which filter did you go for ross.

The Green panel filter as you mentioned.

I think i'll leave the trumpet in the airbox. Have got some good air ducting at work that I might run into the bottom of the airbox to feed colder air in.

Any pictures yet? I want to see how yours looks before i decide to lower it or not, especially as it is in red, so mine would look similar.
