Corrado vr6 is defiantely already a classic , thats another car I would love to own! I'd also like an old rear engined Skoda coupe sometime too!

Dr Zoidbergs Alfa Romeo SZ (Total gem!)

Lastly Renault 5 Turbo I & II insane small french nutter cars, driven mainly by insane french nutters (I know i'm half frog and my cousin once tried to kill me in a Mrk one on the scary roads of Alberville- SHE by the way is still insane in any vehicle regardless of power)

ah, wicked! my brother and i had a mk1 renault 5 gordini turbo for a while. that car was fast a ****. until we blew it up (on a private road of course!) racing a volvo in portsmouth. sadly we couldn't get parts for it anymore. it needed a new cylinder liner and a new piston. i'm the end we gave it away to some bloke. i so wish i had kept that car now because they are so rare now and they go for silly money on ebay.

Is the Alfa SZ old enough to be a classic yet?

Yes IMHO - and you can get them dead cheap at the moment - see here:

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/list.asp?s=417 - would be really tempted if its wasn't for the ened for practicality with kids at the moment.

Surely it would need a BDA?

or a natasp cossie unit?

Id would have to be the BDA for me nothing else would do for that true classic feeling

TBH I wouldn't be too fussed what was under the bonnet, as long as it sounded great and went sideways!!!

Cool  what's on the cards (is it a rubber bumper job?)....... PM me if you want I'll give you my Dad's e-mail address, built up quite a few contacts etc... over the years for cheap parts etc.... He/We'd be only too happy to pass on any advice contacts etc....

You must lower the suspension and get the 1.8l bored out to 2.0l..... well worth it :D

Audi Sport quattro...the UR one,not the mamby, pamby new roundy ones !

My grandad had a Saab 900 Carlsson Turbo in ruby red. Anyway if anybody has travelled from Colne to Bradford over the tops, my dad did it in 27 min's which is bloody spectacular as it is 24 miles in total. That car was a real favourite of mine.

Audi Coupe Quattro: Fabulous car and well engineered too.

Metro 6R4: Mental pocket rocket.
