Check out Stu's website fabia-vrs.com - I'm sure he'll know, and there's a neat DIY (!?) install page with pics.

JBS did mine for just under

I did mine for £25

big k may be able to help. He fitted mine. :)

You can get the stalk from vag parts. I've just seen it and was amazed by how cheap it was.

If you have the 1.9 you will need to buy an additional loom

If you have a 1.8T you will need that additional loom and/or make up your own loom too.

Awesome GTI did mine earlier this year.

Big K did my old vRS, as well as the stalk you need 2 looms on the 1.8T, and the ecu coding changed to enable cruise.

Is it this the loom that is required as well as the one from the cruise plug to the ECU?

eBay.co.uk: VAG Golf Mk4 - 1.8T Retro Fit Cruise Control Loom (item 280046096369 end time 16-Nov-06 12:29:52 GMT)

Got the stalk and the loom that plugs into it but read in numerous places that the vRS will need an additional loom from the bulkhead connector to the ECU as well although on the instructions with the Stalk / Loom there is no mention of this 'extra wiring' just connect it up, enable with Vag-Com and it's done! I want to ensure that I have everything to hand before starting it.....BigK , Stu, can you shed any light?

If you read the wiring diagram you can do it with just one DIY loom. There really is no need to terminate it at the bulkhead connection block. Just wire straight from the stalk to the ECU.

Yup, done mine too. No problems.

Keep it within the club mate.
