Featured Replies

Ma Bruv tells me Octavia are far better, whilst his machine its quite a farst model I am sure that I am far farster! Mine is a T5 you see, however, nowt works on it, in it, with it! I was quite bonkers to buy it!! P.s. I'm not an owld duffer even tho he has pointed out that I also own a tin tent! It goes nowhere either!:finger:

Suzi, Please stop embarrassing me with your tales of swedish woe. Your Volvo is ten years old and knackered. Please go directly to your nearest Skoda dealership and get a Mk 1 Octy 4x4 estate as discussed. Thanks.

Now Royston, Short of having a live debate/another brother/sister argumnetation kind of thing, THE car what I own may well be a bone but but burn you off it sure can! To all others who may be reading this discussion, my (bone/can/heap/fumes) doth play!! Can you say that bout yours?????!!

Yes but it leaves pretty rainbow colours on the road outside my house every time it comes to visit.

Unless it is an R, my diesel is quicker :D

My old 1.4 16V would muller yours, it liked to beat up Rs.

My 4x4 has been lighty fellled & will Bury a derestricted M3 so Im guessing the old Ovlov will be suitably Embarassed. we had a Volvo with Nitrous on one of the Cannonballs, I whipped that as well with just a remap

Hmm

This looks nice Skoda : Octavia 4x4 Estate 1.8 Turbo

Remap will give about 225 bhp, Intercooler & Blue Flame Exhaust a reliable 250 bhp

Also they are totally thrashable & unbreakable.

This is a nice one as it looks well cared for & probably the best colour they made them in

Wonderful ability as a street sleeper too, eh Stuart? ;)

At first, I thought it was Denis' 4x4 but read the number plate as a dyslexic :D

It's the same colour as Colin's original one. I like that colour, and Cayenne is nice as well.

Hello fellow Volvo owner :)

I too have a T5, and I love 10 year old knackered Volvo's ;). Skoda's aren't nearly as reliable as old Volvo's though! Stick to what you know.

Wey hey! cheers mate;)

 Royston, yourwa asss is truly being whipped.

IF you had a 1.8T and IF you wanted massive performance and IF you want more power than a mere remap and IF and ONLY IF you are a certifiable lunatic, then you can get an IHI turbo upgrade. 350 - 400 BHP possible :D

But you need to be a certifiable lunatic. ;) Fortunately, that's quite common around here and as a matter of fact, two posters in this thread have experienced IHI goodness so feel free to ask questions

Don't know if you can get an IHI or equivalent for an Ovlov though

You can. My Volvo is an average 4 door saloon car in it's ability to transport me, family, stuff etc. The trick it has is it's ability to propel itself at a staggering rate in one direction. You would need an IHI to lose my car which owes me

Andy vRS, can't wait to start modding but have a few problems to sort out first, maybe you could help???

I had to get the cylinder head done a few months back and ever since the water is still disappearing, thankfully not into the oil! Would you know why? It's a long story about the garage that did the cylinder head (3rd party so to speak) and I really don't want them laying thier fingers on my car again!! I'd rather fix the problem myself if I can, total novice but practising tho!

Hi.

It is not something i have heard of TBH. I know for a fact you will find some help on VOC. Join up and post your issue.

Volvo's are rock solid, as long as they are maintained they go on and on and on. Remaps are fun too - check out my boost! devil.gif

:Yikes: woooaah!

Are you losing water when the car's going, or seeing puddles when it's stopped somewhere dry? I've a half-notion, and it's not a pricy fix if I'm right.

i'll race you girl in my ambulance, i'd be fairly confident too :)
