Hehe, nice figures Bill.

The white manifold reminds me of the engine room in a superyacht :)

Hoping this one does'nt see water.

be interesting to see how the ceramic coating performs and lasts. aimed to reduce radiated heat, which is massive usually.

Mine does'nt have it currently, but I may revisit if this one performs well.

Other coated mani's from Primary Designs on focus RS for example just discoloured a bit over a years race season. Seemed pretty good.

Just found the photo that I took that your manifold reminded me of:

Just a little turbo on that engine ;)

looks like a twin turbo?

looks like a twin turbo?

Now thats an idea

 - it's already got a fair amount of power :P ;)

That does look ace though :D

thinking weight might be an issue.... lol

Now your starting to get picky ;)

**** me thats some power bet it goes like the stink

when it eventually achieves traction its ballistic - the key word being "eventually" on normal road rubber. slap some decent road legal track rubber and it will be significantly faster. Only fwd so its always going to struggle to put high power to the ground.

(stuck using normal road rubber in the combe saloon c'ship)

have you ever thought about an AWD conversion for the badger wagon? that would really go like stink then as you could up the mid range torque a hell of a lot :D

Another engine driving the back wheels, thats AWD, 1034 bhp & a slightly better power to weight ratio

now that would be silly :D

its been done in golfs and nova's though :rubchin:

Sorry Bill if Im dragging this off topic a bit, I drove Jabbas 350 bhp Ibiza prior to the IHI going on my Octy & found that "interesting" on the lovely smooth roads around Crowland !!, I can only wonder what your monster would be like & envy your dedication to ringing every last ounce of power out of it & yet prooving by thrashing it round circuits that it can do the business.

So many big powered cars these days do a couple of dyno runs & then the owners dine out on the figures.

thankyou.

I would'nt even consider using full throttle on my current setup round Crowland... there's a reason so many cars end up in the ditches and fields round there - std cars!

Yea mines built to race round circuits firstly and foremostly, and its power is whatever it is. Its certainly no dyno queen and gets used extremely hard, beyond 99% members cars on there, so when things dont break, you can be pretty assured they're not likely to in the real world road driving and occasional track days.

not saying things dont break, cos they do.

transmissions parts sufferening the most and some aspects of my previous turbo kit, before I engineered my own.

New g'box and plate diff going in shortly and my special grind catcams and remap. Will have to see where it ends up afterwards

this is one serious motor! alot of respect to bill, he has been through IHI and moved on!
