Central locking.

Featured Replies

I have just brought a Felicia today & the Central lockings not working & as yet I can't find a Haynes for it. I have a Favorit I'm driving until the end of the month & as the central lockings working I thought I would swap the Central actuator over to the Felicia.

But all the Haynes says for the Favorit is behind the Fascia near the fuse box.

Anyone help finding the actuator ? If I know know what I'm looking for & where it would be a big help.

Stupid question but does it have centrol locking?

panel on the side of the passengers foot well????

When I brought the car she said the central lockings no longer working so yes it should have & yes I know where the fuse box is...It's the actuator I'm not sure about near the fuse box behind the fascia is not exactly clear.

The actuators will be in the doors attatched to the lock connections.

Have you checked the fuses?

Yes I have checked the fuse & it's fine. But there should be a central actuator. Each door unlocks fine, but no other door so as it's not just one, or a couple of doors & as the fuse is fine it's probably the Central actuator.

And once found I can check it out on the multi meter. But I don't know where it is.

Ok - you've checked the fuse, did you check the relay? It should be in the fuse box with the others.

Hope that helps.

Hi - my '97 had the same problem - actuators were all fine, but I found the locking rods and levers in the doors had become 'sticky' - cleaned and lubricated everything and it seems fine for nearly 1 year .... Give it a try before spending out on loads of new parts...
