I thought I did as well - the seller says it's an earth.

Had a go at connecting this morning and it worked for about 2 mins then stopped.

Nothing. Nada. Zilch.

Played about connecting, and re-connecting but nothing. Think I have a duff one! B****er!!!!

Why not post up a pic of what you have and lets see.

Sure - here you go...

Excatly the same except the red cable is black on mine!

Sorry about the size!

I can't see why it won't work then as if, as you say, the only connection is a ground then it must be a passive device.

Indeed. Shame it dosn't bloody work though!

For audio the unit doesnt need to use power. I bought a A/V version and that only needs power if you use the video, audio works without.

I've just ordered mine prob from the same guy as you from ebay. Looks the same anyhow. I'll let you know how I get on but I'm connecting mine to an audience rather than the stream radio so it might not be so easy.

Cool - let us know how you get on!

The seller is sending me a replacment tomorrow - fingers crossed it was just a duff unit!

!!Bump!!

Just to update you guys on this....

Got the replacement adapter today and had a chance to try and fit it...

Plugged it in and......

Nothing....same bloody error - No CDC....

So - ether I had a second duff adapter or it just won't work in my car...:(

Looks like no 40GB MP3 library for me ...

:hbomb:
