:rofl:I think you might be biased...

Although I do quite fancy a roadster. Has anyone driven a fortwo?

give her the fabia and buy yourself a pug 205 gti to rattle round in..... you know it makes sense

Nissan Micra!

Has anyone driven a fortwo?

I own one as my daily hack...they are good fun to drive, despite a lack of power.

Insurance and fuel costs are really very cheap (though mine's a diesel), and generally I'd say it's pretty cheap to run.

Only things to watch out for in terms of running costs are:

Tyres - they're a bit of an odd size so generally you either have to shop around and wait, or buy from the first place and pay through the nose. For example, for two new rear tyres fitted same day cost me about

Micra, and get a 1300 if she wants to be able to drive up hills in it!

Yaris?

Lancia Thema turbo (I got one for £1500, nearly cried when I let it go!)

Alcantara, ABS, climate control, and best of all, the 220bhp two litre turbo motor from the integrale... 0-60 in 7 seconds, and 150 mph.... I loved that car..

downsides, group 19 insurance and 25 mpg.. lol.... and don't show it a bloody corner!

Another vote for the Micra - they just go on and on and on :D

Chris

You could get her a late original Mini for that money.

May be able to get a mk2 106 rally with the 1.6 8v engine, rare and very good looking, often well look after if you find the right one, as opposed to the 106 gti, saxo equivilents.

How about ............

You might still want to give the Fabia to SWMBO

:rofl: I looked at that one twice earlier. SWMBO said no...

Women ey, I suggested the Micra but not sure how she felt. I know they're good cars but when I look at the i feel like someones poking me in the eyes cause they're that ugly!

Yaris is another possibility. Going to go for some test drives this weekend, although I'm kinda hoping she can't find one because theres so many that I want. Anyone driven a Nissan Sunny/ Pulsar GTI R??

S14 200SX? :rubchin: - is there a drift championship nearby? ;)

Can you tell i'm bored at work????

You know your postcode is right in the middle of that post Woodie?!

Oh, and I'd have the Yaris out of those above. Seems a very good buy that, especially with that mileage.

Steve

Decent looking Yaris Rob, a bit nearer to you: link (1st one listed)

A little over, but see if you can skim some cash off?

Indeed, not my cup of tea. But any of the females I know with one love it

Couldn't be doing with that offset dash and digital speedo...

Steve

P.S. They go faster than you might think....:D

Why a Kia Picanto of course. Fits every requirement: cheap, small, low running costs, cheap to insure, comfy and fun. 5 doors for the price of three...:drivesaf:

Anyone would think you were on commission :P:rofl:
