"Next to a mobile greasy spoon trailer on an industrial estate"

Came back to my car and after half a mile in the mizzle there was this nice layer of fat all over my windscreeen which the washer fluid would not touch.... :grumpy:

in a scrap yard, next to the crusher!

Next to a rail depot or siding - lots of fallout all over your car :thumbdwn:

Or near a chemical works, same applies.

On a slope near the sea (anyone remember the Top Gear Toyota? ;))

Next-to where my dad's pipework fitters are grinding and welding - they vented their sparks out of the side of a building they were working in only to find there were three cars parked underneath. They looked fine at first but two days later were all covered in little rust dots! A big insurance claim was made :D

Known as industrial fallout :D All they had to do was actually wash of the rust as what is rusty is the particles of metal that have fell on the paintwork, insaurance claims sound a little silly to me :S It important to wash you car frequently if you park it near a factory that has a grinding department and extraction system or where the type of work produces alot of metalic dust and over a considerable time the rust will eat away your paintwork and then the insaurance claims are relevant :D

I would also avoid parking close to a major road and the crap that gets kick up off the road and lands on your car is unbelievable, I learnt that when I was working for shell and parked my car close to the A303.... major dirt... one side of the car was dirty and the other was clean...

My cousin once tied his scooter up to a no parking sign.

Of course he got a ticke, and had the cheek to appeal against it.
