is it worth washing the motor before the run down  or just go for the sooted up look:rolleyes:

Judging by the wetness out there, I think mudsplashed might be more appropriate! Maybe the rain will come and wash off all the dirt :)

There's water fairly close to our stand, so you can refresh the finish when you arrive. This morning we were kept waiting at the entrance so long that some people did a full wash & wax in the queue!

Oh, and we can't have a BBQ, but I have done another batch of chocolate strawberries.

Make sure you bring your wellies tomorrow!

Here's a taster of what's on offer, from today.

The last one was rumoured to be a mule for the new Fabia vRS (That's another tenner for Decron).

That's Stu and I on the 3rd / 4th ones discussing my sun blinds (black octy)!

Good to meet you Stu!

It was very muddy around some of the stands, - best decision I made all day was wearing my walking boots!

Saturday was pretty good, we were lucky with the weather in the end although it did p1ss down on our way there and on the way back but stayed fine while we were there at least!

Best bit of the day: Seeing the Mk3 Golf (twin V6 engines I think with nitrous oxide) blitzing the sprint with a 0-60 of 2.8 seconds. Don't know whether it was the quickest though!

I had a fantastic day, unfortunately I didn't manage to meet everyone as I would have liked but I will rectify that next time hopefully! Everyone was very friendly and the atmosphere was very good! I would like to say thank you to bryand for supplying the leaflets and I think the nibbles? With this being the first meet/show I have attended I didn't think about that sort of thing so I'm glad someone was on the ball. I left early do to sunburn and a splitting headache (self inflicted perhaps!) All in all a great day, I look forward to the next meet!

Some of the timed Quarter-mile action from GTI International today.

Briskoda didn't come away entirely empty-handed, but I'll let somebody else fill in the details...

And some pictures of our stand. I'm sure others will add more photos of the stands, exhibits and events. Thanks to everyone who came along and made it a success.

Yet another cracking Brisky day out

Our thanks go to Jason for the organisation and to Bryan for bringing a whole manner of things to keep us dry/shaded/fed etc etc. a big  to you both.

The Sprint Trophy at the end was a real surprise but in all fairness the Skoda class was'nt exactly well represented, perhaps these pics/comments will encourage more to come along this first class and well organised event next year.

The highlight was that W12 650bhp Golf MkV concept vehicle, sounded AWESOME when they started it!

The evidence!!

Chris on the left and Steve on the right. Not sure that they are the best times they did though.

Thanks to everyone who attended, I think you'll agree we had the absolute best position for a club stand.

Sorry I wasn't overly chatty today, had a little too much wine last night and was feeling a little sorry for myself this morning :o

On a more serious note the Brisky curse as struck again, Miss Kia rang me a while after leaving and she had unfortunately had a coming together on the motorway, luckily the damage was minimal and no one was hurt but understandably she was very shook up. Luckily as i pulled over to take the call I had a highways patrol up my jacksie who despatched a unit. Hope you are fine Hayley and Kiki is back in one peice soon

Sorry to hear about Hayley, hope she gets better soon.

Did anyone get the web site of the company who had taken the entrance pictures, I can't seem to find them on the web.

Thanks.

Sorry to hear of the news Hayley - I hope all is well.

If you happen to be in the area please don't try and race this one, it doesn't have Brisky Stickers!! The current pilots were quite chatty though.

Just got back. Glad everyone enjoyed it. This HAS to become a fixture of the Brisky calendar and we SO need some flags/banners/etc up. It was a little embarrasing to have no real livery on display.

Got very tempted by

Are you trying to say that you didn't like our effort? I thought we looked rather fancy with our tesco value gazebo (lovingly erected, with great care and attention) and our inch perfect parking :D

Who was the guy in the black Fabby est, you've obviously spent a lot of effort getting the look you've achieved  , did'nt even get to say hello nor the guy in the Silver Octy vRS who slid off without a word!. Anyways, everyone is welcome :)

I didn't catch the guy's name with the Fabia estate, both he and his brother seemed friendly though - from what they were saying, a lot of the bits on the Fabia have come from trips abroad to foreign shows.

Mk1 or Mk2 silver Octy? I can't remember seeing one...
