That wax is worth about twice my car

J

I was just gonna post that up!!

Something must be wrong for a guy to spend 7k on wax.

Thats the stuff :D

Needless to say my octy wont be seeing any of that unless i win the euro millions tomorrow

Also as it being wrong to spend £7k on wax. Not really as most people that buy it are pros so pays for its self.

Or they have more than one car and with the amount of applications you get from a tub makes it worth while when averaged out over the years

For those who made a mockery, and came up with the usual rubbish 'needs a girlfriend' ... Jealousy springs to mind!

I've never understood this idea that the only reason someone would find someone else's activities bizarre could be jealousy.

Why would I be jealous of someone who owns a car I could easily afford, but don't want?

Well its worth every penny in my opinion....

...being that model of car ;)

seen a few shows regarding this guy - Miracle Detail

On call 24/7 just in case you get your enzo a wee bit dirty before heading out.

Fantastic. Like to see the end result on a Skoda. Anybody up for it ?

Too much like hard work for me.

Fantastic!

What has someone loving there car got to do with having a partner or not?

I for one think it's a tad excessive and I'm certainly not jealous of him either, It's not exactly a Veyron is it.

Can you honestly say that if you spent that much time and money on making a car look like that you would actually drive it on the roads? I get the *** when my wheels get dirty from brake dust after i've cleaned them!

I don't care how much wax a car has on it, a flying projectile (stone) will still damage it.

I'll say one thing in his defense: the seats look fantastic.

I'm going to do something similar when my Aston arrives! Mind you, by the time I can afford one, all cars will have force fields anyway, so where won,t be much point.

Phil

well the wax he used on the car is
Fantastic!

I think it's more that if someone has 4 days in a row spare to wash, wax and such their car it implies they perhaps don't have any other commitments. Then again, I didn't make that comment. Though Lady Bertie McHobnobs did when I showed her the thread... ;)

He posted a pic of his other half on the last page of the CorsaSport thread, in an attempt answer these sorts of questions!;)

Steve

Wax on, Wax Off, Daniel san!

Way over the top if you ask me, how gutted would you be if first time out some old banger droped an oil seal right in frot of you  .

I still stick to the point of whats the point in cleaning it if its only gonna get dirty again!! It is the UK after all.

Oh and it will only take him about 10 minutes to wash it

I think that's the point, do you honestly think that he will only spend 10 minutes washing it? This reminds me of a bloke I used to know that would remove his bumpers to clean the paint that you could never see, that was underneath.

It's very obsessive behaviour, he might be a top bloke, but I think it's not only weird to spend this much time on a brand new car, but to document the entire process and put it online, too?

Still, each to their own

Dave.

There are, of course, far worse things to do with one's time. ;)

oh well a while back there was a guy at a place my mate was working that was like that bout his car... sadly he ended up being killed in a crash.... he had polished the grill on his volvo so much sun reflected off it and some old guy got blinded and crashed head on into the poor guy while he was waiting to turn right at a junction

How long must he take in the bath.

I love the building in the pics at the bottom!!

Thats where I got married, The Archbishops Palace in Maidstone.
