Mine bonnet and front bumper is starting to look like a teabag

Picked up a huge chip on the bonnet of my Octy passing a dritter on the M80 - when I'd had the car less than a week :eek::mad::mad:

There's also a small chip in the windsreen, but apart from that it's not too bad.

My bonnet is covered in stone chips and there is a huge dent from one on the top of the drivers side door frame. This one also made me duck Em. :eek:

My MOT is not due until November.

I have a large gouge in my bumper from what I can only describe as a small boulder that escaped from a quarry wagon I was following up the A1. Hitting it was inevitable, but as it was bouncing forward along the road in front of me I managed to slow enough (road was v. busy) so it didn't make contact until it had stopped bouncing above bonnet height. :eek: It made a good noise as it bounced its way under the car too.

I wouldn't have been impressed if it had come through the window. Quite apart from the damage to me or the missus, we were off to the ferry on holidays, and I'd only just had the windscreen replaced the previous week

I go up N down the East Lancs easch day, I had my Fabia for less than a week before I accuired my first stone chip. My poor old felly got knocked sensless, can't be helped but it's sure annoying. Nothing strikes a cold sweat than that "cracckk" then looking to see how bad it is.

I can live with stone chipped paint, but a peppered windscreen is no fun.
