interior cleaning

Featured Replies

Number 1 Son decided to be sick in the RS yesterday.......in between the front seats.......nice!

Spent 2 hours cleaning it up and typically although there's nothing left to be seen there's that smell. :(

Apart from employing the serrvice of Mark or Gossy anyone got any good ideas on getting rid of the smell?

Cheers.

Adrian.

Neutradol is rather good

THanks Alex...is it readily available from Chemists/Super Markets?

Yes. There is something you can get from you (not so) friendly Halfords as well I think.

try fabreeze it works well on my dog...............

apparently febreeze is very good a getting rid of sick smells...

auto glym and meguires do sprays to combat smells in the car too.

Try pet odour remover spray.

Wash the area concerned with a milton solution. Then when its dried,if you need to spray with Fabreeze to double up.

Personally Milton does it for me and doesnt leave after smells of its own.

Another kinky Briskoda secret revealed :naughty:

Howard (Fen_L&K) is our child vomit removal expert, he'll be along shortly i would think ;)

You need something that neutralises the odour, not something that masks it like normal air fresheners. Neutradol is good but the daddy is something called 'Dr. Zyme' which we use for carpets in nursing homes etc. Try the others and if they don't work drop me a line. It's something to do with killing the enzymes that make the smell rather than just trying to cover it up. If you're miles away from me try a local (domestic) carpet cleaning firm and see what they use.

Thanks for all the advice chaps.

I've tried the Fabreeze route for now as we have some already.

If it doesn't work will try some of the other suggestions.

Cheers.

Adrian.
