Hi I have been looking at buying some tyres on the Internet and a firm called my tyres seem the cheapest can anyone recommend these.

someone told me you have to watch out for old tyres sold as new

They are good, Camskill are pretty good too. :)

I'm just hunting for some 225*40*18's and etyres.co.uk seem to be the cheapest so far.

2 Goodyear Eagle GSD3's for

I can highly recommend Event Mobile Tyres - Your Local Mobile Tyre Fitting Service. Not sure if they're the cheapest for everything (they certainly were for the tyres I wanted), and they delivered and fitted 4 new tyres in the work car park in about 40 minutes. They also managed to balance up the wheels properly which is something most tyre fitters don't have a clue about.

10/10 :D

blackcicrles.com are also pretty good

I've used mytyres once - great prices, excellent service, prompt delivery. Had the tyres fitted and balanced locally for

I normally use topgear or camskill.

I've used mytyres, would definitely recommend, good prices, choice and excellent delivery.

For an all-in-one service etyres are pretty good. Four tyres competitively priced, properly balanced and fitted on my drive by a nice man in a shirt and tie

I used ValueTyres (www.valuetyres.co.uk) recently. Their price for Goodyear GSD3 Eagle F1s was the best overall at the time and delivery was prompt.

I have used mytyres before and they were fine but you need to have a local fitter that can do you a deal. Last time I used Tyres online @ Blackcircles.com: car tyres, 4x4 tyres and motorbike tyres who were fantastic - great price and they seem to have a deal for fitting with all the main fitters. Loved the fact that I ordered on line for all in (including fitting) and they delivered to the normal place I get my tyres done for about 30% less than if I had gone direct  .

Another vote for Event Tyres. Both times I used them, they were spot-on. :)

MyTyres, sadly, let me down big time - although many others have had very positive experiences of using them. Maybe it was just bad luck on my part... :(
