What would make your Octy just perfect?

Featured Replies

Before anybody slates me for this, I just want to say that I am very happy with my Octy, but there are a couple of things that I would like to see in future models, either as standard or an option.

These are:

Rear cup holders

Compartment in the rear armrest

Sliding cover for front cup holders (to keep the dust out)

Luggage partion net as a factory option

What would you all like to have in any future Octy?

A W12 quad turbo 4 wheel drive 3 door coupe version would be good. :P

Mine is just how I want it for now :)

Could do with a fuel card though....

Mirrors that fold in when ignition is turned off.

Mine's always come with a cargo net, triangle, mats and locking nuts from my dealer.

I'd like to see the radio surround in the same grey style as the dash flashing (on doors, above glove box, light swutch) on my Elegance. The silver the do on the VRS looks cheap IMO.

Oh, and Myleene Klass in the passenger seat dreaming>

I would need mine to change into a Scout tdi with a DSG box, shame they don't make one then.

Mine to stop creaking when it goes over bumps

Mrs Lopez to be in the back.

Mrs Lopez to be in the back.

Must have an estate then ;)

I would like a lack of rattles and creaks, but have to also say that unfortunately I would like the car to have been more reliable.

When it is working though, it is a nice car.

I agree with all the above, and would add:

Automatic light sensors that work better

A 12v outlet for the rear passengers ( kids with IPODS, Portable Consoles )

Hide away storage in the spare wheel area ( I had that with my old octavia )

Slightly better ride quality and quieter diesel on idle

But not much really

A bit less road noise please

The little plastic flap above the interior rear view mirror that you get on the Mk.I needs to make a comeback. (It's a lot more useful than you think!)

Cruise control buttons on the steering wheel NOT on the indicator stalk.

Other than that it's pretty damn good

as above plus

damped grab handles

greater sensitivity on the auto rain sensor adjustment

rear volume controls for the kids

curtain airbags as standard

chrome grill surround painted to match car colour!

Only an end to the mild door seal rattle - which generally goes away after warm-up anyway. Otherwise this car does all I wish, considering its price and type.

If it was dark grey with 17's. Spotted one today in Durham and it looked a lot better than mine :(

Decent dashboard illumination similar to Honda Accord and Jazz. In bright sunlight the instruments are often in shade and almost invisible.

In contrast instrument lighting is too bright at night even with the dimmer switch turned right down.

Auto folding mirrors.

Sealing strips at front of engine compartment to stop the under bonnet area getting filthy.

Defo 4WD RS - too much wheel spin

A REVO remap

A REVO remap

That's easily sorted ;)

Self healing paint and plastics – it will come one day!

1. A towbar that doesn't cost

She is 4 months pregnant at the moment. Can you wait?;)

If most of the stuff listed here was available it would be called an Audi :D

I'm happy with the stuff Skoda have crammed into a 20-odd-k L&K.

Door seals that don't creak.

A turbo on my 2.0 FSI !

Other than that the car is perfect.
