Briskoda Fabia at the Nurburgring??

Featured Replies

100% must if your at the ring! if you want directions to the restaurant (owned by Sabine's parents) just ask!

The best steak anywhere!!!!!!!

If you'd seen us Scumballers tottering round the ring last year (and again this year) you'd realise theres not much to worry about except keeping to the right (and indicating right) when faster cars pass you, and believe me, they will!

I'm not sure if it was last year or the year before but I was there once when the Scumballers were there (although it may have been a group of mates doing there own Scumball type event)..........I seem to recall an old Saab and an old Audi and am sure that one of them crashed and deserted the car on the the track.....as in climbed the armco and fu(k

It could have been us last year, there was a saab and an Audi, the Audi did crash on the ring but only suffered minor damage and was allowed to drive off.

All the cars were in full Scumball livery so would have been pretty obvious! we were in an old Alfa 3.0 v6!

All just IMO of course.

Of course Its all opinion/experience based.

My first time I had many trackdays and more under my belt, but still found it slightly intimidating. Why??? i dunno, maybe the folklorists, maybe its reputation as one of the most challenging/longest tracks in the world, maybe because i had made it my mecca from a young age to drive there.

But im glad i went there with some experience to begin with, you dont find all your cars limits easily on the road, so how can you go and expect to know them on the first circuit you drive?, so dont drive to the limit maybe? well whats the point of driving all the way there to pootle around? thats like hiring a prostitute and taking her bowling.

all of course IMO
