The high mileage club...

Featured Replies

My PD100 has just turned 108k and she feels tight as a nut.

My old Passat B5 (my mom still drives it) has 156k and as far as the engine is concerned, there's health for another 50k. Just not sure if the rest will stay together though.

My 2002 fabia 1.4 mpi has just ticked over 159000 miles. I have no idea on the service history as my ex mother in law didn't believe in keeping such things... The engine is gutless but Freddy just won't die!

My 2006 Octy 2.0Tdi PD140 DSG is currently on :- 380,900 miles (613,000kms)

Does this put me at No.1 spot???

PD115 in my MK4 Golf on 224k and still pulling strong with no leaks or knocks :)

Mine clocked itself:

I like that that only goes up to 99,999 miles. It shows even Ford didn't have much faith in them getting past the 100K barrier :D

Still on original turbo as far as I can tell.  Cambelt changed twice at 60,000 and 115,000.  Water pump also changed at 115,000

151,123 as of yesterday. Octavia classic 1.9 TDi - the most basic you could get (doesn't even have remote locking! :D )

Still going strong. It's an '06 reg, bought new I'm the only owner and I still love it.

Sorry I didn't add to the list or post a photo; I'm on my phone right now.

Ticking over to 129K on the Passat (1.9 TDI PD)...due another service in month and going to treat it to some new front rubber as well.

The Disco is approaching 152K.....and has just sprung (we think) an oil leak (we hope!) after a long run (well, a 120 mile round trip) at the weekend.  Cue mechanic visit and much cursing (by us AND the mechanic!)

tdi vrs estate 165000

Just donated our 2005 Fabia vrs with 52k on it my son. In return we had his 2001 Polo SDi with 144k on the clock. I originally bought the Polo with 50k on it from a trusted friend. Still going strong. Just replaced original exhaust. Original battery. Cleaned it up today after 6yrs of my son's abuse. Looks great.
