High miles on my daughters Skoda Fabia 1.9TDi Elegance. Still going strong although problems with the ABS unit/ecu. Just noticed a grumbling front wheel bearing we think, in the last few days!

I have 260061 on my 2004 octavia classic TDI.

121000 miles, rising by 3k per month. 56 plate octavia vrs diesel. no probs yet, other than expected tyres and very occasional limp mode I think from sticking turbo vanes.

Just broke the 200,000 mark on my 2003 Fabia vRS... sitting at 200,025 at the min and going strong as ever! :)

On the list at 175k but now on 186k still feels & looks like a sub 80k car. Hats off to Audi build quality :thumbup:

Mine is now on 178700 and still going strong

Passed 188,000 miles last week in my A8, still running fine except for a noisy wheel bearing.

Ok. This is my current mile munch list.

Bora 115pd 318000 miles still going strong till I px'd it at progress skoda for the wife's Fabia.

Bora 2 130pd 245000 still going strong for the guy I sold it to at work and...

Audi A3 2.0 tdi 170 still in my possession at 207000 still on original clutch and exhaust . Second set of discs and pads all round and going strong after I removed the DPF ;-)

It's all about good oil !!!

    Audi A3 2.0 tdi 170 still in my possession at 207000 still on original clutch and exhaust . Second set of discs and pads all round and going strong after I removed the DPF ;-)

     

    Environmental regulations must be really lax in the UK. Over here, you remove a DPF or even a cat, you can be charged with environmental crimes. The minimum fine varies, here in Stockholm its around 1700 quid. But 5000 quid fines have been known to turn up depending on the severity. I heard of one that ended up being close to 8000 quid, but that was overturned by the courts.

    My first car.

    Sadly scrapped this February as it would have cost much more than its value to pass an MOT and survive the following year.

    Engine still running fine, though had had a replacement gearbox as the previous one had lost synchro between 4th & 3rd (after runing low on gearbox oil thanks to a bad service under a previous owner..).

    2000 1.6 GLXi is on 243,000 miles now, just did pads and discs, only the second set of pads its had and first were replaced at 60k before I bought it in 2004 with 88k on it, would have bought a diesel if i had known the mileage I was going to put up but for a petrol engine can't fault it.

    My Fabia 1.9 tdi estate (2001) had 168,000 when I sold it in July 2013

    Engine was not drinking any more oil then when I purchased it with 35,000

    Octy 1.9 TDI estate on 03 plate is soon to be part ex'd for new VRS and is clocking over 157,000 miles

    My 2001 e46 320d which I px'd for my citigo had 160k on it and was still going strong.
