............this Wednesday 25/7/07 at 8:00pm BBC2 :)

The boys are back and not before time :woohoo:

Pearoast :D

Rumour has it it is supposed to be a really good one,and caused the production team etc a few problems;)

its about time they were back on shame ill be working when its on ill have to record it so i can watch it over and over again

They have been filming in Dover, Kent.

I believe they were trying to cross the channel to France in home made rafts??

Sky + set

No Sky + (Yet) so it's in the planner. They were in the paper as they tried to cross the channel in their Amphibious Cars and didn't warn the coastguard.

Really enjoyable episode! Surprised at the outcome too!

Chris

Well another 'Jolly Hockey sticks episode ' Brilliantly typically childish TG special.

Dont think I gave much away :D

Absolutely top drawer!!

I think it's repeated on Sunday for anyone that missed it.

Was a good 'un too.

Yep - I saw it from 20 minutes in. Was pretty good.

seen last 10 mins.. boys are mental...

I think Richard Hammond really deserves credit for doing that with the dogs. Ok, the boys in the car did well, but given the choice, I'd much rather have the pickup.

 Clarkson with the nut stuck to he's lips i was in fits   .

It was very good but couldnt help thinking that it was all a bit of a setup.

The editing was very creative at times.

Did they really reach the North Pole?

I'm not convinced

I'd always thought they were all a bit of a set up. I watch 'cos it's entertaining, not because I believe it? Am I wrong??? (Probably!)

I bet someone from the press quickly jumps on Clarkson for flagrantly drink driving, albeit within the law, which is no law :D

yes, congratulations to the backup mechanics and survival experts- they're the ones that really did the job.

Just watched it on Sky+ and thought it was brilliant.

Cool sig Harry

please tell me it is repeated somewhere later this week....I was out and missed this.

 Clarkson with the nut stuck to he's lips i was in fits   .

Me too, Jezzer is the " Billy Bunter" of the Car World, great bungling buffoon ! he's Ace.

For instance the fact that the offside running board / sill guard / macho but pointless bit of trim thing kept going bent, straight, bent, straight, bent, straight suggests that the scenes as shown were not exactly linear! (Sad, I know, for noticing! :o ) I reckon that probably happened as a result of the 'bridge board incident', but then the fact they had a camera filming the board and not the truck suggests it was pre-meditated! Made for good telly, though, so it's no worse than The Apprentice or the F Word or anything like that which proclaims to be 'reality TV'

I don't suppose there's anything permanent there, as the ice presumably shifts over time. But the fact their sat nav showed something like 57 degrees North bugged me - I don't know why that should have been, 'cos they started at something like 75 degrees North. But then, if they didn't at least think they'd got there, why would they have filmed the sat nav display?

Honest and transparent or not, it was the best hours' telly I've seen for a while - SWMBO said she'd only ever seen me more excited when Bedroom Action was on offer! ;) :naughty:

I'll keep an eye out for the Sunday repeat, so I can catch up on the few bits I missed 'cos of the phone ringing...:D

Think it's repeated on Sunday, check it out, was a good piece of telly, kind of thing only the BBC seem capable of making.
