Matt,

that really suits the S3 wheels matey.

Excellent.

took me ages to decide which wheels I wanted.

You've got me thinking now ! ;)

Think they suit the estate even better than they would on a hatch.

Swap ya ? :D

That's a lovely looking motor you've got there....... When i saw it i was gonna ask if you got it last week as me and the mrs were driving down Penistone Rd and overtook a 57 plate one in the same colour that had obviously JUST been collected from the Mazda dealership near the Lexus place. It had a red hardtop roof though.

Anyhow a couple of updated pics of one of ours.......

Mr Pitt - a nice Mk3! - does it already have the lowering kit as it doesn't seem to have the 4x4 ride height?

Also have you had the alignment done yet (apparently the Mk3's aren;t set up very well at the factory)

Thanks, I had the Eibach lowering springs fitted before I collected it and it feels fantastic as a result. As you're probably aware, the European NC's are raised by 30mm before being imported so they comply with Pedestrian crash regulations. the eibach springs put them back down to where they were intended to be.

I did ask about a geometry test, but was fobbed off by the dealer saying they were designed with those springs so it didn't need doing. It's something I am investigating just now though.

@Wavey Davey: Nice Fab, the front splitter really sets it off! (is it a Seat part?) it wasn't me you saw after all. I've got nowhere to store a hardtop.
