It's a one owner car that's only done 6000 miles.

It's never been used intentionally in the wet and last got wet in 1996 when caught out in a storm.

It goes on blocks over winter between november and April to avoid the dreaded salt.

Until I bought it from the original owner (an 86 year old lady) it had never been used in the dark either, so the headlamps pop up once a year for it's MOT.

It is one of only a handfull of known X1/9's with zero rust and my pride and joy. Just a shame it's not a 1300 model with the tiny quarter bumpers as Bertone intended and not these huge American spec alluminium monstrosities.

Love my Skoda Fabia vRS but i love getting to drive a 432 every now and again. Now thats fun!!

432s are very old hat now..... most of the Army have finally got on the CVR (T) series at last.

I can still remember the precise moment I was stood in a Fiat dealers about 13 years old watching a young couple get in and try one out of the end of run LEs (just like yours). Right there and then I thought I would own one of those at some point.

Yours really is pristine. The glove box lid hasn't even distorted like most of them seem to do...

If you ever come to sell it... I've actually stopped drivers of these things in the street and have left my card with them. No one's ever called me back yet... :(
