Thanks very much for the Pics, i will fit mine in the morning hopefully. I was most concerned about fitting the wires closest to the engine block. I didnt want to have any of the hoses rubbing together and making a hole.

It seems from your pic that you are underneath the coolant pipes around the engine

Many thanks

No probs Matt..... Yeah the only things touching / rubbing are the intake pipe and the Dragon box cabling so shouldn't have any probs.

Did you get it installed and working ok Matt?

Cheers

Dave.

Yeh i did, but i have since sold the box as i'm seriously considering changing the car and wanted to sell it as standard.

Thanks for your help. If in the end i decide to keep the car i will def be on the hunt for another box

Matt

I bought matts box (the dragon one).

A few questions.

10min install today, and started her up.

Engine was quieter when driving (wasnt expecting).

Running the below mods (sig).

I have a boost gauge, so know my car has gone from 1.35ish bar (1.5peak and settle at 1.35), and now its peaking at 1.55 and settling at 1.5ish.

So boost is up, is this right?

Also, not noticing much power increase really.

Its a 16pin one, and ive got it on 14.

Any help apreciated.

A digital tuning box should not affect the boost pressure - in fact it simply can't 'cos of the way it works and how it's connected. You should get a definite and noticeable hike in power, though. I'm wondering if there's a fault or the supply fuse has blown, because under these circumstances, the car will run as normal???

A digital tuning box should not affect the boost pressure...

...because under these circumstances, the car will run as normal???

Boost has gone up tho... Is it overboosting becaue of something else? N75 valve or something.

What Amp is the fuse? Ive looked, but it is fine i think.

Try 16?

Dave

Could be any number of things with the turbo - sticking vanes, for instance. You'd need a fault scan really to know... As for the box, there should be LEDs inside that'll tell you if there's a fault: steady green means 'power on'; flashing green means 'running' and red means 'fault'. No light would mean no power at all of course!

Give it a whirl on 16 by all means, but part of me thinks the peaky turbo output + unimpressive performance = limp mode + Dragon box still overriding the fuelling???

Right, tryed it on 16, and think it is a bit better, but not 100%

Light was on solid green, turned engine on and light didnt change.

Dave

Don't really know how to help - I have a 7-pin one, so it could just be that the LEDs work differently... :ne_nau:
