Normally I moan about the lack of points and missing points blah blah blah... Well i logged in today to see if my points from wednesday had been added (which they yet to be) and found 444 points added to my account with no explanation now thats made me happy

I thought that - Only worth about a 0.5% return for normal drivers.

Even at my poor 35mpg, I'll need to drive nearly 20k per year to get in the double points bit. And then there's the inconvenience of getting your card details skimmed. A better option for me would be cashback credit card or find a supermarket petrol that won't gum up your engine with silicone and bag their petrol offers.

Shell Pluspoints have been a nightmare all year for me, even before the change to Shell Drivers' Club. Still chasing a few thousand earned through purchases made with an associated Shell Visa card, V-Power purchases recorded as ordinary diesel, V-Power purchases properly recorded but then not reflected in the summary of V-Power purchases on the website. Letter sent (still waiting response) but now also waiting for another V-Power purchase made since (nearly 2 weeks ago) to register in the 'transaction history'. Once all this is sorted and I've got the 'money off vouchers' due, the other thing that will be history is my V-Power card. Just not worth the hassle any more
