I think that putting them in the shop will be a great idea.

Obviously you have to think about the outlay (£), but they will sell...im sure of it.

Do they all have to match?

IE have either BriSkoda.net on or can be say....30 of one sort 30 of another?

Im just thinking couldnt you liase with SeatCupra.net pehaps, to see if they want some, then that way it might get the numbers up. ( I know a few members on here post on there and vice versa..)

I don't think there is a problem with the price, I actually think it's very good. As I said in the first post there is a slight chance they could be cheaper but in depends on factors such as the Euro and shipping charges.

JohnD has been in touch with the company so I hope that after the festive fiasco is over he'll have some news.

Can you put me down for a set of the skoda ones please :)

As to festive season being over - get a life!

We are actively investigating this for the shop.

A couple of points :

1. There will be only one(1) version - it is totally impractical to run all the variations that have been listed.

2. Pricing is yet to be ascertained

3. Delivery to us is approx 6/8 weeks.

How do the plates fold down?

If they are the same as my current Autohaus ones, there's four tough circular clips along the bottom edge. When you want to change/remove plates, the part with the graphics/text on it just folds down.

Hope this makes sense - it's easier to do than explain really!

Ah, I see! Does this not make it easier for the tealeafs? lol

I suppose potentially, yes. But getting the clips down is quite tricky, so it would probably quicker for them if you had them screwed in :)

Not interested in a set myself (it's the wifes car and she thinks my German BMW ones are stupid!) but just wanted to point out that these are really good value.

It would cost you £15 to get two blank surrounds from Germanplates.com. Also I bought a pair of "BMW Autohaus Munchen ///M Power" ones for my car and they were £25 for the pair.

Both of those were just the conventional clip on retainer style, not the funky flip down ones like these.

Good luck with getting the numbers.
