Most intriguing vehicle you've seen with a 'Ring sticker?

Featured Replies

We've all seen them on occasions, a 'Ring sticker on the back bumper of say a Scooby, Evo or even the odd Skoda. But what's the most unlikely vehicle you've seen plastered with one. Of course we can't assume that just 'cause its got a sticker on its rump that it's actually circulated around the world famous racing venue, but anyhow, mine spotted today:

A beat-up dark blue Colt pick-up, didn't get the reg, but it was at least 10-15 years old! :D

I've seen a nice looking VW minibus with a ring sticker in manchester. Whatever the current version of the caravell/transporter is.

Silverstone sticker on the back of a picanto ;) or does it have to be a actual 'ring sticker :)

Was it metallic blue this Picanto by any chance? Oh yes, I've seen that too, next to the "DIRTY 1" sticker :P . They all count!

I've seen a couple very recently:

Back of a 5er touring (debadged but suspect a 530, 545 or 550) near Berlin last week, and;

a ring sticker on the back of a Rover 220 Turbo (tomcat) at the motorway roundabout just up the road. I was intrigued as to how it had got all the way over to the ring, round, and back again without blowing up!

My mate is a London cabbie and his Cab has one on it........and it's been to the Ring twice. A photo of it on the Ring even appeared on here once.

Several cars round here. There is a car dealer, who visits the ring 5 times a year, and insists on stickering up every car on his forecourt

Mk2 Golf GTD?

^ Thats almost as cool as the taxicab ;)

I work with a guy who has a 55 plate MKIV Golf 1.9 SDi with a 'ring' sticker on the back.

My best mate took a MK5 TDi hire car around when his 200SX didnt make it last year, happily he did make it this year and got round in just over 8 mins which is rather good considering most of it was sideways.

Hardly interesting, but my octy estate proudly sports a ring sticker from last easters visit.

a mate of mine has one on the back of his works Ford Transit Connect, but he has been the Ring back in May in the PPP Scooby he has just sold

iirc your not supposed to put a ring sticker on unless you AND car have completed a lap of the the nordshliefe....

I'm off over to the Ring the weekend of 5th -8th Oct............will get a sticker for my car then!!!

Had one on the Octavia vRS prior to selling it.

what is a ring sticker is it the nurburg do dah?

yes exactly that.

If you see TaviaRS's avatar (is that what it's called), that's a ring sticker

Just over 8 mins is a seriously quick lap...........was that in a golf TDI?

i put one on a 55plate 1.6 astra hire car i had for 2 months.

had one on the back of my old 2litre diesel astra, it never went near the place! :D

No that was in the pictured Nissan, around 300bhp.

Do them M25-Ring stickers count?...

might as well put 3 letters on the back of the car N C P

On mine:

Is this unusual enough?

I've done the M25 ring in it's entirety once but like 22 million others I do bits of it nearly every day so it's appropriate to have one on the Octavia :D

Sticker anyone??? :P

Or, for our friends in the North: M60 Ring
