Well steve and I were talking the other night about ideas for next year, and both sort of agreed that although cz is an awesome trip, we have done it twice now and it'd be nice to do something a little different and a couple of rather good ideas were flung up

Well, actually, I'm determined to do a Ring weekend next year at some point. I might see about organising another centre parcs based long weekend for that. It will be a travel Friday and Monday affair.

Never been - I'll leave my car outside and use the MTB to get around then? Can you be stoned in charge of a bike in Amsterdam?

might as well fly there you do know there will be a good chance your car will be stripped at customs on the way back into the uk if they get a sniff of you being in holland.

Hmm i get the newcastle amsterdam ferry sometimes and there are defo more cars than bikes around that part.

The only reason they use :bike: in the town is so u can see whose red light is on

Hopefully i will be able to make next years trips as i move back to the UK and my life should be a bit more stableforthe Next 3 yrs (touchwood)

I haven't ridden a :bike: in years, although I suspect if I tried again I'd be either going face first or flat on my back! Probably wouldn't look out of place in Amsterdam then :eek:

Driving to Amsterdam was fine for us. We left the car at Schipol airport, got the courtesy bus to the terminal and the train into Amsterdam central which took about fifteen minutes.

It was no hassle at all. You don't need a car there because the trams are great. I can give you the name of a great hotel if this takes off. All the drinks were inclusive in your minibar and also in the lounge
