I like that, a lot

Oh, and the spoiler's not bad either ;) - great pics as well

Sunset privacy glass is available as a factory fitted option on estates only for £200. I've just had mine done by a local firm who did a superb job for the same price.

could you let me know which firm bertj. have been thinking of getting mine done.

Very nice!!! Why isn't this standard ffs?

They're in Chester:

A&A National Windscreens

12 - 13 Chaser Court

Greyhound Retail Park

Chester

I dropped the car off at 9am and it was ready by 4.30pm as the film has to cure. They suggest not opening the rear windows for a few days so I took the fuse out that controlled the rears only.

Bert

cheers bert, will pop in to see them

looks pretty nice. I would have on if i got an estate!

Should be standard. Big improvement - I have always thought that the estate vRS isn't quite sporty enough in appearance, and it's amazing the difference such a little thing can make.

Nice one

It's a sleeper :)

Perfect - look's factory. I like it.

That does look the business! As already said, it should be a standard item!

True. The hatch gets a failry 'obvious' spoiler - why doesnt the VRS estate come with one from the factory! :thumbdwn:

Are we Estate owners discriminated?

Great job Lee, I agree it matches perfectly the tinted windows too!

As do the new darker coloured Zenith alloys. :D:thumbup:

Of course :)

Yours is a sort of reference for my Octy :)

cracking , looks much better , really like the look of sporty estates.

looks really good and cant believe like others that the estates dont have this as standard. I got a price for one when I bought my car but it was £350 all in so £250 for spraying and fitting which I thought was a bit much. Decided to buy one later and get it sprayed and fitted locally. the spoiler at the moment is about £104 and the glue is £13.

I really don't get why one isn't standard either, seeing as one's fitted to the hatch as standard, to distinguish it from other models...

hi folks, adding this to an old thread to save starting a new one, how much do you think a car painter would take to paint and stick on the spoiler?

Excellent - was asking my dealer about getting one fitted for when I pick my car up but couldn't find any decent pictures. It looks great. Thanks for the posting.

Sarge.

so, does it keep the crap off the rear window??????

From the corner of Mul..:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I paid about £75 to have it sprayed and fitted but it was a bit of a favour as it was a friend with a bodyshop that did it. I think he said it should have been about £150 normally.

It did improve the state of the rear hatch in bad weather to a decent degree and imo it was the finishing touch to the looks of the car. :)
