Problem with `Moding`, esp a PA is that you end up ****ing in 2 directions and if you are not careful can get a nasty infection.

No probs in about 8 years of continuous use - as I say, it's just a case of 'upgrading' the gauge of the ring as the hole stretches to avoid excessive 'bypassing' (it stops at about 4mm IME!) As long as the ring's a good-enough fit, the Coanda effect keeps everything pointing in the right direction!

anyway back on topic as i have said before i think a petrol car will always win over a diesel car as it has got the advantage of the bigger powerband right through the revs whilst a diesel dies off at 4k tops

IIRC, 70 is about 2000rpm in top (newer ratios on mine), so 4.5k would be just under 160 - if the aerodynamics permitted it!

I was nowhere near the redline when doing 150MPH, speedos are out a bit anyway.

Im sure if you took a 180BHP petrol and a 180BHP diesel the diesel would win everytime, loads more torque.
