Had enough of your comments now. My mate got a picture, but im not putting it up on here as that'd be about as stupid as putting a bid of your bike speeding passed a school on youtube. I agree the clocks will be out but your stupid comments on 125. You need to go to bed school boy. You take this far too serious and its asthough your life depends on this forum, but actually your very sad as you own a different manufacturers car. Mummy's calling bed time snoops

Ah, Yes, You have a picture of your speedo at 145, and I presume the GPS too. Or does he have a picture of you doing 145, and we're meant to guess how fast your going?

I can see how posting a picture of your clocks is as dangerous as what you've mentioned ...

I'm sad, I know, that I've moved on from a Fabia, and judging by yourself, I'm glad I don't own the same car as you. Now that the Fabia's are getting cheaper, your type .. ' the young baseball text speaking **** ' .... pick them up... :D

Not that I'm calling you a young baseball text speaking ****, you chavtroll!

Oh, and less of your cheek.

Wrote a letter to the head office of Shell today, telling them, that the Tesco Managers are rumbling through there bins, finding traces of Petrol from old tanks..... Then it was reported that a pig ran between the bin and flew off again!

I love this attitude you have, invicible... I'm off to bed now, but Mummy isn't calling me I'm afraid... She's at work, so I have to tuck myself up :(...

I remember using the 'Mum' jokes, when having an arguement..... Yeah, I was about 6.

I can't restrain myself any longer ;)

As another "real" vRS owner I have to add a few comments to this thread.

I used to own a Furby vRS and it was the most entertaining car I've ever driven... not really a hot hatch but more of a warm hatch.

Completely standard car and on a quiet private road... my encounter with an "old" CTR below.

Started off when he crept up behind me... put my foot down and he was caught off-cam - score one for the Skoda ;)

He caught up again and overtook on a blind bend... intelligence level zero but I gave chase "just for research purposes" ;)

Quoting a famous award winning chipshop owner... the only way I could keep up with the bloody thing was to take my furby by the scruff of its neck and throw it round the twisty's.

Result was to be expected... and his sick-brick handling carried him off into the sunset :)

Amazing cars CTR's... and the only reason I managed to keep up for so long was:

A - he wasn't expecting the Fabia to out-accelerate him

and was caught in the wrong gear

B - He really couldn't drive properly on the twisty's... relying on the car rather than himself to do the driving.

I love the furby - but it's no Hot hatch, more of a pocket rocket... a wolf in sheeps clothing ;)

Rant over

Argument? what argument. Anyway I'd rather spend my cash on having a half decent car and living the young lifeand hols. So hats off you your CTR and I hope that your carbon bonnet takes of serious seconds on those drag strips. Mind it might not last too long where you live in the ghetto, Ciao Pedro

Petty argument fellas?

Just slightly off-topic wouldn't ya say?

Snoopie... love the car mate

Symonevans... appreciate the effort but this is an argument you can't win... i don't care about remapped and tuned cars... in standard form the Furby would get trounced by a CTR... I don't like it anymore than you do, but accept it and move on... enjoy the site and play nicely with the natives :)

Now the pair of ya grow up and get a grip.... or I'll bitch-slap ya both with ma pimping hand! :finger:

Price of running it?

Maybe just maybe he fancied a change ;)

Like robbo said the fabia is left for dust by the CTR. I had a mk2 golf 1.8 16v engine on twin 40's, a schrick 276 degree race cam and a couple of other mods. And that used to just about keep up with them. And that weighed nothing and wouldnt idle below 1800 rpm due to overlap on the cam.

The thing is above 100 the fabia is starting to loose the power with the gearing it has. The vtec is different at this speed the faster it goes the more power it has.

If i could afford to not have a tdi i wouldnt get a CTR, id be after an import teg dc2 with the xenons. :D

My Fabia has never been "left for dust" by a CTR, or my mate's ITR for that matter, certainly NEVER doing legal speeds.

90+ is a different story of course.......

*I dont mean now, referring back to when it was just mapped.

But from reading your review on the Panda 100hp it sounds like you actually have some driving skill

I'll say one thing if a re-mapped Furby can keep up with the new civic type r I would eat my hat! I was in my mates today and Christ on a bike!!!!! That thing was effing quick! Throught the corners it stuck like glue too. I was most impressed!!!!

I'm not here to knock Type R's, as I do actually like them, but the new one is not as quick as the old one. The one I had a go in was slow, until VTEC, then it was quick. Im sure if it had power all the way through it wouldn't "feel" as quick, same with the Fabia.

*Unless you mean the Jap Civic Type R which we have to import? That does look tasty.

Lol, nice. Nah its a 2.5 Duratec producing around 340bhp. He rolled it on mull last year so has rebuilt a new one. The video is on youtube:

Just got back from Mull on Sunday actually from the 38th Tunnocks Tour of Mull, and never seen so many VRS (both variants) in one place. Full of them!! Anyone from here go?
